-Music video scripts are often not as 'narrative' as prosaic drama scripts. Often take the form of 'grids' or are formulated with columns; one for the song lyrics, one for the corresponding content.

Mood boards

Good one is - easy to feel and understand, cohesive.

Bad one is - difficult to image/portray, disjointed.

Contain- colors, shapes, patterns, forms, and what all of these are meant to evoke. Emotions to elicit as a result of them.

specific props can be shown on the mood board to show what is about to happen throughout the video.

Storyboards

Need to be created after there is some footage or at least there is a functional scripts to work from. There needs to be a set scene or for there to be more developed ideas to form a storyboard.

Lighting can be used to show the passing of time. Stop shots can be taken to changed the scenery whilst staying in one place. Props can ca used to represent different objects and the weather (pillow to be clouds and also steps).

Costumes can be used to create the artists image. The contrast on the costumes can help to produce the idea of one being bad and the other good or the idea that the people have different perspectives on life.
