Often take the form of 'grids' or are formulated with columns; one for the song lyrics, one for the corresponding content.  Mood boards Good one is - easy to feel and understand, cohesive. Bad one is - difficult to image/portray, disjointed. Contain- colors, shapes, patterns, forms, and what all of these are meant to evoke. Emotions to elicit as a result of them. specific props can be shown on the mood board to show what is about to happen throughout the video. Storyboards Need to be created after there is some footage or at least there is a functional scripts to work from. There needs to be a set scene or for there to be more developed ideas to form a storyboard.  Lighting can be used to show the passing of time. Stop shots can be taken to changed the scenery whilst staying in one place...

  Advertise, promote and market - Halifax Banking advert https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62QAAaMdTp4 The Halifax banking  advert was produced by the company DDB, this advert was created to encourage people aged 25-54 years old to join their banking for the genre of this advert was banking and family life. This advert is shown on the television on the more mature programs for it would not be shown on a child’s channels because it does not apply to them and would not interest them because they are not of age to have a bank or to be moving houses alone.  This advert starts of by showing a family moving into a new home, the father is walking up the stairs with a box full of child’s toys. The audience know this for a slinky falls out the box when the father gets to the top of the stairs.  4 key areas: -Creativity and originality  -Technicality  -Marketability  -Expression  Sharp camera shots, high quality slow motion shots, originality, she’s expressing her views and points, tells as story and the video helps the music make sense with more of a storyline.  Basics of production in the making of music videos: - Figure behaviour, action, performance  - Artist performs to camera. This is not journalistic or an interview. They don’t look off camera.
